Service Work

AnswerPhone:

Volunteers are needed for Answerphone and the 12th Step List.  This is IMPORTANT and SATISFYING service.  Many of us found AA by picking up the phone & making that first call, so this is the opportunity to be the one answering that call for someone else.

It's also suggested that you worked or are working the Steps and have a sponsor.  Also Home Groups can give service by taking over an Answerphone shift. Grace House:

Grace House women in urgent need of sponsors. If you are a sober woman with at least a year of clean time and are willing to take on this awesome responsibility, call the Grace House at 504-899-2423 and let them know you are willing to become a sponsor for a Grace House resident.
